Jane Waterman, Executive Director of Jane Waterman Consulting, delivers a presentation on the importance of leadership for the HIV/AIDS response in Sub-Saharan Africa. Jane Waterman was formerly Senior Vice President, Europe and Executive Director, UK of the International Rescue Committee from 2014 to 2017.


Leadership in Tanzania in the Context of the Response to Cervical Cancer

Dr Oscar Ernest Rwabiyago, Senior Public Health Specialist, Centers For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Tanzania delivers a presentation on the importance of leadership in the context of tackling cervical cancer. Dr. Rwabiyago participated in the NJIA program in Kagera Region, where leadership skills are used to create and implement innovative ideas to increase the number of women sensitised and screened for cervical cancer.

Caring Together: What the Data Shows Us

Conrad Musinguzi discusses the data behind the Caring Together Project. Conrad's research compared the capacity of health management staff in Caring Together health facilities with facilities in a control region, and discovered that leaders in Caring Together facilities showed transformational capacities.
